Tube strike

Hello and welcome to my blog.

I just wanted to share my story from the last tube strikes in London.

The tube strikes have made life hell.

I was stuck in the cold for nearly 8 hours. The combination of harsh winter weather - seasonal travellers and shoppers mad ethis the worst tube strike i hve ever experianced. Usually i can get on a bus and get to where i'm going quite easily but the bigger volume of people and the tiing of the tube strikes (Monday the 30th of November) made my day hell.

As far as i am concerned the Tube stuff deserve to be sacked and they have no sympathy from me. The London underground staff are incompetetant and spend the vast amount of their time chatting or standing around watching people at the barriers. Im not sure if they are aware but the carriers don't open unless you have an oyster card or train ticket!!!

I hate travelling on the tube on a good day but on a bad day these guys augt to be shot! i understand you hve families to feed but sorry so do I. I need the cheaper oyster card travel - im sorry if enough people arnt buying paper tickets - there's nothing i can do about that - you guys get a monopoly over london rail travel and then you rip us off. The stuff are in the unlitmate position to gain a following and make some positive rafts in the way of reform - but ehat do thy do - they make enemies - with the very people that are likely to unite behind them to say - we want cheaper rail travel - better service - more trains - more drivers - more damn band for our back because we are paying to damn much for a service that's always delayed or having signal failures.

Screw tube strikes - free travel for one day - let it cost TFL.... why should they look like the good guys when they are screwing everyone over?

There has got to be another way - another tube strike isnt going to solve anything!!! the more you strike the more im gonna wanna kick your ass - the worse you look in the media - and the more support London Transport gets to kick you losers out!

Granted 800 jobs is a lot of jobs to be cutting! - granted you guys have it tough! but you guys barely manage with the staff you have - what do you plan to do when yall get rid of these guys.

And your costs have been going down every year with the introduction of the oyster - why are fares going up 30% year - no ones damn wages have been going up 30% a year.
